Weekly Challenge – September 26, 2021

As I continue to explore the world of college, I am learning something new each day. Whether it is how to calculate the sum of three vectors graphically, the meaning of life from a Biblical perspective, or the different outlooks people have on why we exist, God is continuously shaping my faith in his truth. One thing is for certain, however. So many people have been asking me why I believe what I believe. Yes, some people have asked in a mocking manner, but others have asked out of legitimate curiosity. This world needs to hear the gospel message! I am continuously reminded of the passage from 1 Peter:

Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscious, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.

1 Peter 3:13-17; English Standard Version; Crossway, Student Study Bible

This week, make a very specific effort to share with someone the gospel message. God has you right where you are for a reason. Perhaps the people you are interacting with just need to hear the truth.
