Weekly Encouragement

May 9th to May 15th

May 15th

Often times, it is so easy for us to have it “all figured out,” or so we think. Once things don’t go our way, though, we get disappointed, or, even worse, mad at God. If we stop clinging to our plans, and start clinging to the God that made the plans, we will be at peace!

May 14th – for the occasion that someone asks why we believe, we must have an explanation. Why do you believe our God’s promises?

As we walk into uncertainty, often, the “what ifs” overwhelm us, and we lose sight of our God’s promises. Remember that our God never leaves us!

On today, May 12th, remember that our God is always at work!

Stand on God’s word! He will provide the words that you need to speak his message! A friend reminded me of this today:

“Moses doubted he could speak up against all of Egypt but God reminded him that he was the force behind every action” – my friend.

I cannot say it any better! Our God is truly at work everywhere, and we cannot forget that!

May 10th

Isaiah 41:10, ESV, Crossway, Student Study Bible: “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

It can be frightening sometimes to stand on God’s word when it feels like the popular opinion is to stand against it, but we do not need to fear.

May 9th

Sometimes, this world can be draining, but we have hope as Christians in a better life! Let us remember that our God is the one that sustains us!
