I found this butterfly wing today, June 14th, and I thought it was so beautiful! When I really got to thinking about it, though, I saw a huge correlation between the sacrifice the butterfly had to make for anyone to hold this beautiful wing and the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for us to live with him forever in heaven. Both gave up something precious, and we see their sacrifices as beautiful! There is one major difference, though – Jesus did it willingly! I can’t say the same is necessarily true for the butterfly, but it is nonetheless beautiful and such a great reminder!
