Weekly Challenge – June 27, 2021
Pray. Prayer is really important in our walk with Christ. If we are never praying, then we are never talking with God. A relationship is two-sided. We must talk with God. He loves us. He wants to hear about how our day is going. Talk with God this week.

Weekly Challenge – June 20th
Change. It’s not often a word that we like to hear, much less experience. As I have been working through the last few months, change seems to be imminent. No matter where I go or what I do, things keep changing in my life. Some things could be labeled “positive,” while others are less than joyous changes. Overall, though, the biggest struggle has been to remember that God is in charge. Remember that this week. God is truly in charge.

June 26th June 25th Amidst the uncertainty, trust in the God that holds all things in His predetermined plan. June 23rd June 22nd June 21st June 20th Fathers are such a blessing that I think we often take for granted. One thing is for sure, I think we often take for granted all the lessons about our heavenly Father that our earthly fathers teach us.

June 19th June 18th June 17th June 16th June 15th I found this butterfly wing today, June 14th, and I thought it was so beautiful! When I really got to thinking about it, though, I saw a huge correlation between the sacrifice the butterfly had to make for anyone to hold this beautiful wing and the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for us to live with him forever in heaven. Both gave up something precious, and we see their sacrifices as beautiful! There is one major difference, though – Jesus did it willingly! God has you right where he needs you. This sounds so cliche, but it is 100% true! Think about it – God made time, right? If that is the case, then he decided where in time he wants you! You truly are right where God wants you! Don’t forget that this week!

May 5th June 4th I got to see the most beautiful rainbow today! It was a triple rainbow, unfortunately not something that can be seen from the picture. It reminded me of God’s promises to us, especially the one never to flood the Earth. The beauty that God creates around us, ultimately, should be a reason for us to turn our eyes back to God in awe and reverence of him! More and more, this world starts to look dark and dreary. In fact, it can often be dragging just to push to the next day. Our God gives us strength, though. This week, as you struggle to complete the mundane tasks that would normally be part of the “grid,” pray that God uses even these small things for his glory. Our God has a plan. Do you trust him?

Today is May 31st – Memorial Day. We are truly blessed in this country, and we cannot forget that! Even if life may not be “going our way” for a day or so, we cannot lose sight of the blessings that God provides for us each daily. Remember, the fact that you are alive and breathing today is a blessing. May 30th Do not forget that our God will continue to sustain you if you lean on his strength!
